I was just thinking to myself that it was time for another Kardashian post and voila – there it was!  These Kardashian stories just write themselves, don’t they?

After just 72 days of marriage and what seemed like a lifetime of pre-nuptial agony (for us), it’s over for Kim Kardashian and that guy she married, whatshizname. 

I know divorce is not a laughing matter, but damn it Jim, this one is.

Looks like there was no happily ever after for this “fairytale.” After just 72 days of marriage, Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from Kris Humphries, according to court papers received by EW. (Ryan Seacrest, who serves as executive producer on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, confirmed the news via his Twitter feed earlier today:  “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins.”) The papers, filed Oct. 31, cite irreconcilable differences as to the reason for the split.

Kardashian has released a statement, obtained by EW: “After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

sniff……..sniff……..sob…….sob…….  “I had hoped this marriage was forever…..”  Now that’s some funny stuff, right there.

Ingredients

1-1.5 lbs Sirloin steak

1 tsp Vegetable oil

4 oz Butter  - softened

4-oz Blue cheese  - crumbled

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

To taste Kosher salt

To taste Cracked black pepper

Directions

Bring steak to room temperature

Preheat the grill to 350°F

Place butter in small bowl to soften, add blue cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and whip together until ingredients are well combined. Cover bowl and place in refrigerator

Rub both sides of the steak with the olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper

Place the steak on the hot grill  for 7 – 8 minutes per side or until internal temperate reaches 130F (medium rare)

Remove the steak from the grill and let the steak rest for 5 – 10 minutes before serving

Top each serving with a teaspoon of the blue cheese butter

Officials in the Florida Everglades have captured and killed a 16-foot-long Burmese python that had just eaten an adult deer.

Skip Snow, a biologist and python specialist at Everglades National Park, who conducted the snake necropsy, said the snake had a girth of 44 inches with the deer inside.

“This is clearly an extreme event,” he told the Sun-Sentinel. “It shows you they can eat huge things.”

People, these stories keep coming out at a rapid clip, so it’s really hard to keep up.  But never fear.  One of our favorite blogs has neatly summarized the whole thing in song, and is running a music video challenge — check it out!

This story sickens me.   It appears to me that the already wounded Gaddafi was sodomized by at least one of the same rebels who were celebrated and praised for capturing Gaddafi.  I will not post the pictures of the alleged assault, but you can click the link and see for yourself.  Be forewarned, they are disturbing.

This is the new and improved Libya.  I have said it before and I will say it again, not all cultures are equal.  America is indeed the best.

SIRTE, Libya — An analysis of video obtained by GlobalPost from a rebel fighter who recorded the moment when Col. Muammar Gaddafi was first captured confirms that another rebel fighter, whose identity is unknown, sodomized the former leader as he was being dragged from the drainpipe where he had taken cover.

A frame by frame analysis of this exclusive GlobalPost video clearly shows the rebel trying to insert some kind of stick or knife into Gaddafi’s rear end.

GlobalPost correspondent Tracey Shelton said there is some question as to whether the instrument was a knife from the end of a machine gun, which Libyans call a Bicketti, or some kind of stick.

This latest video discovery comes as international and human rights groups call for a formal investigation into how the former Libyan leader was killed. In video clips that have emerged of his capture, Gaddafi can be seen injured but alive. Later he is seen with what appears to be gunshot wounds to his head and chest. According to the Geneva Conventions, however, abuse of prisoners under any circumstance is not permissable.

“ K2″ also known as” spice”

I will start this post by letting you know that young Brandon died yesterday.  He underwent a double lung transplant in late September, but developed  an infection which ultimately killed him. 

The frightening thing about this story is that although Pennsylvania banned this drug, it is still sold legally in many states.  Please spread the word about this garbage.

In a time when children’s lemonade stands are shut down by the government, there is no reason that this poison should be legally available to anyone.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A 13-year-old boy is fighting for his life at Children’s Hospital.

Brandon Rice is on life support after his parents said he smoked a dangerous synthetic drug that mimics marijuana.

KDKA Investigator Marty Griffin reports that “spice” or K-2 is blamed for at least a dozen deaths nationwide.

Rice has been on life support at Children’s Hospital since the middle of June. His parents said his lungs have been destroyed by the effects of the drug and that he needs a lung transplant.

Right now, he isn’t strong enough to make it through the surgery.

On YouTube, there are hundreds of videos of young men and women having so-called “bad trips.”

Rice’s parents found some of the drug in his room after he was hospitalized. They had no idea what “spice” was or that their 13-year-old had even used drugs.

As they fight for a transplant for their son, they hope he lives long enough to get one. Rice’s parents want other parents and other teenagers to know how dangerous a so-called legal drug that can be bought locally can be.

Abortion is a stain on America, as was slavery.  There is big money to be made killing unborn babies, just as there was big money to be made enslaving fellow human beings.

Two abortion clinic employees plead guilty to murder

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) – Two employees of a Philadelphia abortion clinic where live, viable babies were allegedly killed and a patient died after being given on overdose of painkillers pleaded guilty on Thursday to murder.

Guilty pleas to third-degree murder were entered by Adrienne Moton, 34, and Sherry West, 52, who both worked for Dr. Kermit Gosnell at what prosecutors have described as a decrepit and unsanitary clinic known as Women’s Medical Society in West Philadelphia.

Due to a court-issued gag order, attorneys declined to comment on reports that no plea agreement was reached in the case.

Sentencing was set for December 2 by Common Pleas Judge Benjamin Lerner. The maximum penalty for third-degree murder is 40 years in prison.

Seven more defendants face charges in the case, including Gosnell, who a grand jury in January said, “killed babies and endangered women. What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy — and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors.”

The grand jury said that a clinic co-worker of Moton’s testified that a woman gave birth to a large baby at the clinic, delivering the child into a toilet. The jurors identified the newborn as “Baby D.”

The jurors said the co-worker told them that the baby was moving and looked like it was swimming.

“Moton reached into the toilet, got the baby out and cut its neck,” the grand jury said in its report.

Ingredients:

3 each            Red bell pepper – large
3 each            Green or yellow bell peppers – large
8 oz                Olive oil
4 oz                White wine vinegar
1 oz                Fresh basil leaves chiffonade
To taste          Salt
To taste          Black pepper – table or cracked

Directions:

Roast peppers over flame until outside skin is completely charred and pepper is soft
Placed peppers in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes, and then remove peel
While peppers are cooling combine the oil, vinegar, and salt and pepper in a container
Cut pepper in half lengthwise (top to bottom) and remove all seeds and veins
Cut the peppers into 1/2 in wide strips down the length of the pepper
Place sliced peppers in appropriate sized container, pour dressing over the peppers and let marinate for 2-3 hours
Just before serving, chiffonade basil and sprinkle on top of peppers
