Connie Chung Interviews Kathleen Gingrich

January 26th, 2012 2 comments

Remember This?  This clip was from a 1995 Connie Chung interview with then Speaker Newt Gingrich’s late mother, Kathleen Gingrich.  If you will remember,  at the time, Chung was co-anchor of CBS Evening News along with Dan Rather.  Chung is married to cheesy television giant, Maury Povich, best known for his “who’s your daddy” meme television show.

The interview with Mrs. Gingrich was broadcast on a second Chung show, airing during the same period, called “Eye To Eye With Connie Chung.”  In the interview, Chung asks the elderly Mrs. Gingrich, who is hilariously dragging on a cigarette, what her son Newt thought of Hillary Clinton.  What happened next (you gotta watch the video), set off a firestorm of criticism and illustrates the ongoing media bias against conservatives.  Even back then, there was a “gotcha” mentality, that seemed to only be applied to conservatives.

SOTUS – “It’s Like Deja-Vu, All Over Again*”

January 25th, 2012 No comments

I find this so insulting to Americans.   We deserve better.  *thanks and credit to Yogi Berra for post title quote!

Just noticed that Ed Morrissey over at Hot Air has done a great job dissecting this and has included the opposition response. It’s worth the click. I promise.  lol!!!

Jackalopes – Proof That They Do Exist

Lee Morcus, the owner of the Jackalope Ranch, whose own Chef Maria and team were the winners of the 2011 International Indio Tamale Contest (Chef Pete posted about that here),  confirms the existence of the  mysterious and mischievous jackalopes.  These horned rabbit-like creatures cause many problems at the Jackalope Ranch for the guests, employees, and delivery trucks. Check out the video and hear Lee’s story and incredible pictures.

Judge Napolitano: An Unborn Baby Is Entitled To Equal Protection Under The Constitution

January 24th, 2012 No comments

It’s not often that we get a clear and comprehensive  rationale for repealing Roe v Wade from a legal perspective, but Judge Napolitano really nails it in this segment from his show, “Freedom Watch With Judge Napolitano” on FBN.   Judge Nap also makes a valid point about the historical failure of Congress to have passed any fetal personhood legislation, even when there was a pro-life majority and pro-life President.

Judge Napolitano easily integrates the many facets of the abortion issue to come to a simple conclusion:  An embryo/fetus/unborn baby is entitled to equal protection under the law.

CNN Video Shows Gingrich Cleared By IRS of Ethics Charges

January 24th, 2012 No comments

You know what’s doubly disgusting about this?  The morons on the left and the right, who refuse to acknowledge that Newt was cleared of those charges.  They continue to  spread lies about Gingrich.  And then they scratch their smug little heads and  wonder why Americans are angry?

via The Right Scoop:

CNN reported back in 1999 that Newt’s college course that the Democrats tried to make hay out of in saying it was a major ethics violation was vindicated and proved legitimate by the IRS:

This is really cute.  The video is from 2009, but it’s really timeless.

Ann Coulter Calls Newt Gingrich “Road Kill”

January 24th, 2012 2 comments

This bit of hysteria is from last night’s  “The O’Reilly Factor.”   A word of warning: Turn down the volume.  Road kill comment is at the very end.
