Is Obamatax Invalid?

On face value this makes a lot of sense, but I’m not a lawyer, and the only lawyers I know will charge me $250.00 an hour to verify this (and they still might be wrong).  Anyway, watch it and let me know what you think in the comments.

What the Senate did was take a bill that had already been passed by the House, HR3590, The Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009, and made an “Amendment” to it that removed the entire text and title, and replaced it with the PPACA. You can look at the history of the bill here:

    http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.R.3590:/

This is how they “deemed” the bill to have passed. The original, completely noncontroversial bill was in fact passed by the House unanimously, then completely emptied out and replace in both title and contents by the Senate, passed 60-39 by the Senate, and sent back to the house for reconciliation as HR4872, where it passed 219-212.

Thus the Senate made an end-run around the Constitutional requirement that tax bills originate in the House.
