New Ad: Pro-Abortion Hollywood Actresses Don’t Speak for Women
by Steven Ertelt
A pro-life women’s group has released a new web ad responding to a television commercial pro-abortion Scarlett Johansson, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington released yesterday attacking Mitt Romney on abortion.
The pro-abortion commercial, directed by filmmaker Rob Reiner, who produced such classics as When Harry Met Sally, is currently airing in the battleground states of Colorado and Virginia. “Mitt Romney is for ending funding to Planned Parenthood,” Longoria says. Johansson concludes: “Vote for Barack Obama.”
In response to the ad by liberal advocacy group MoveOn, the Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC) unveiled an ad today which speaks the real voice of women and clarifies the real record of conservatives.

Video footage obtained by The Daily Caller shows Hollywood screen legend Tom Hanks and Eagles musician Glenn Frey at a 2004 fundraising auction, playfully interacting with a white man dressed as an African native, complete with blackface makeup and a giant Afro wig.
Hanks most recently provided the narration for ”The Road We’ve Traveled,” a 17-minute-long campaign video meant to help President Barack Obama win re-election in November.
The fundraiser, held March 13, 2004 at St. Matthew’s Parish School in Pacific Palisades, Calif., featured Hanks and Frey as co-emcees. Children of both men attended the school. The event’s theme, “Castaways,” evoked memories of the 2000 film “Cast Away,” in which Hanks starred.
The 2004 auction’s routine included a white man in blackface, identified in the footage as investment banker James Montgomery, CEO of the Santa Monica, Calif., firm Montgomery & Co. In addition to blackface makeup and the wig, Montgomery wore a leopard-print toga and an arm band made to look like it consisted of animal teeth.
During a lull in the auction, Frey refers to Montgomery and comments, “See how boring money management and stock investment is, people? It’s not nearly as much fun as, like, professional basketball.”
In response to the video, Congress of Racial Equality national spokesperson Niger Innis has called on President Obama to remove Hanks’ narration from his campaign film. Innis called the incident “an orchestrated, heinous, and racist ‘Stepin Fetchit’ routine that Mr. Hanks was a part of.”

This morning, Noel Sheppard from Newsbusters, gives us something delicious to spew about: Liberal celebrities and their hypocrisy – a natural phenomena.
Top Ten Richest Celebrities Supporting Wall Street Protests
By Noel Sheppard | October 12, 2011 | 08:52
On Tuesday, NewsBusters told you about some of the wealthy television news anchors hypocritically supporting the Occupy Wall Street movement.
As an interesting follow-up, Brian Warner of Celebrity Net Worth has published a list of the top ten richest celebrities that have as of now officially backed the protesters:
#1 Yoko Ono Net Worth – $500 million.
Ono stated “I love ‘Occupy Wall Street’! John is sending his smile to ‘Occupy Wall Street’. I am sending my love to ‘Occupy Wall Street’. We are all working together. ”
#2 Russell Simmons Net Worth – $325 million
Keep in mind that on top of being a hip-hop mogul Simmons is the founder of a high fee credit card company called UniRush Financial Services.
#3 Roseanne Barr Net Worth – $80 million
Roseanne thinks anyone with over $100 million should be beheaded. Interesting that her net worth is $80 million. I guess she doesn’t make “the cut”.
#4 Deepak Chopra Net Worth – $80 million
Chopra said #OWS is turning anger into awareness. The fortune he has made off his fluff filled books has just turned me to anger.
#5 Kanye West Net Worth – $70 million
#6 Alec Baldwin Net Worth – $65 million

Most days, if someone promises “Hollywood carnage,” Fester will giggle and silently urge them on. But this one seems a little uncool. The U.K.’s Daily Online reports that Hollywood Leaks (reportedly an offshoot of the hacker group “Anonymous”) has been hacking the cell phones and Twitter accounts of H’Wood celebs and posting their phone numbers — as well as private (sometimes intimate) photos.
Now, normally Fester would condone harassing the Thespians, Divas, and Fooles of the Left Coast. Most of them are just asking for it with their prancing, primping, and political preaching … pride before the fall and all that. But man, you’ve gotta draw the line somewhere. This time they’ve gone after Julianne Hough – America’s sweetheart! I mean, what did she ever do? Okay, okay, there are the zit-cream commercials, but for heaven’s sake, she’s just trying to help people.
But perhaps some good will come of this. On the heels of Miss Hough’s misfortune, it seems that karma has finally gotten involved, by way of New Scotland Yard. These slickest of British bobbies have arrested two hacktivists from Anonymous, and are gunning for more. Perhaps Hollywood Leaks will be a short-lived enterprise after all, and the carnage will be minimal.
Where were these guys during Weinergate?]]>
